The forthcoming termination of SNAP benefits is a manufactured crisis completely within the purview of Congress. Emergency funding is available, and withholding those resources is an intentional, petty cruelty. This action harms only the vulnerable who need SNAP, and will subsequently make them more vulnerable. Play politics elsewhere; don't create needless suffering just to make a point.
