An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Stop deporting U.S. citizen children, uphold human rights

33 so far! Help us get to 50 signers!

The deportation of three young children, aged 2, 4, and 7, who are U.S. citizens from Louisiana is unacceptable and a violation of their fundamental rights. This egregious action by immigration authorities highlights the urgent need for comprehensive immigration reform and increased oversight of agencies like ICE. Children, especially those with citizenship, should never face deportation or be separated from their families. We call on Congress to prioritize protecting the rights of all Americans, regardless of age or immigration status of their family members. Immediate action must be taken to prevent such traumatic incidents from occurring and to ensure immigration enforcement practices uphold American values of human rights and dignity.
