Furthermore, the administration’s primary envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, have been rejected by Iranian leadership, leaving us in a dangerous diplomatic vacuum. I urge you to consider the warnings raised by Rep. Nancy Mace regarding this war of unforced error: - The Intelligence Gap: Rep. Mace has noted a "deeply troubling gap" between the military objectives shared with the public and the classified briefings given to the House Armed Services Committee. Congress cannot authorize a war based on inconsistent justifications. - The "Washington War Machine": We must resist the influence of hawks like Senator Lindsey Graham, who seek to turn Iran into another Iraq.
