Senator Collins: voting to let this bill go forward was abject betrayal
9 so far! Help us get to 10 signers!
Your no vote on the death dealing budget bill was a charade.
It did nothing to stop the cruelest and most corrupt legislation in our history: a wicked budget bill that will kick millions of health care, case a collapse in rural health infrastructure, kill millions, bring misery, and enable concentration camps, a gestapo, an escalation in human rights abuses that will someday require international tribunals.
Shame on you for this partisan cowardice.
You could have stopped this harmful grifting bill by refusing to move it forward.
Instead you "deferred to the majority leader."
Shame on you for not serving the people who elect you.
Shame on you for criticising Senator Merkley for confronting Mr Vought with the fact that his cuts to key programs will cause hundreds of thousands of children to DIE.
Senator: a fact is not an insult.
It appears that you consider some peculiar notion of decorum to be more important than the LIVES and SURVIVAL of children.
What moral universe do you inhabit where the lives of children are not allowed to be fought for?
Maine will suffer and America will suffer. If you don't care about children and the poor: consider that anyone who needs immediate emergency hospital care for a heart attack will not be able to get that lifesaving care in time if there is no hospital within the needed distance.
Yes: this bill that you permitted to move forward is a bill for depraved heart murder.
Human beings deserve better than to have those they send to legislate betray and harm them as you have done.
