An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Vote no on HR 8281.

2 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

The SAVE Act's stringent voter identification requirements of only accepting passports or birth certificates could disenfranchise millions of eligible American voters. Over 140 million citizens lack passports, while 69 million women have taken their spouse's last name, rendering their birth certificates inadequate under this proposed law. Implementing such restrictive provisions risks undermining the integrity of our elections by erecting unnecessary barriers to the fundamental right to vote. I urge you to reject this legislation and instead pursue measures that safeguard access to the ballot box for all qualified voters.
