Stay strong on the budget deal!

Today Trump cancelled a scheduled meeting with Congressional Democratic leadership and then went on social media to post a mean, lie-filled rant about Democrats. We think it’s time to shut the government down! Enough of trying to be reasonable with this man! But “we’ll be blamed for the shutdown” you say. You know what? Democrats are being blamed for everything, so that’s not a reason to capitulate. If Schumer and Jeffries give in now, they need to go. We want you to support a budget deal that includes a permanent extension of the ACA premium tax credits, a reversal of all cuts to Medicaid, and strong guardrails to prevent Trump from cutting funding that Congress has allocated. Without those provisions, please VOTE NO.
