Diplomatic Intervention Needed to Prevent Regional Conflict

The recent conflict in Gaza and the attack on Beirut are both deeply troubling. The suffering of civilians due to the restriction of essential supplies and communication, along with the use of white phosphorus, is unacceptable. Many in Beirut see the situation in Gaza as genocide. This conflict could escalate into a wider regional issue, possibly drawing in nuclear-armed Iran. We urgently need diplomatic intervention to stop the violence and start peace talks. The goal is to prevent a regional conflict that could have disastrous global consequences.
