I'm writing today to ask you to support AND pass the Heroes Act that was recently passed in the House. This stimulus is much needed for people, businesses, and organizations severely impacted by COVID-19. It will also help us safely re-open schools, either in-person or via distance learning, in the fall.
As we have seen in CA we can't re-open the economy before the virus is mitigated. It's just not possible. People need to be able to stay home and not have to worry about money, rent, or food. We need to pass a stimulus to make sure that people don't feel like they have to choose between their health or their homes. This is truly the only way forward. Thank you for your time and attention.
