Oppose RFK Jr.'s Confirmation to Lead HHS

RFK Jr. has a long history of spreading dangerous and thoroughly debunked misinformation about vaccines, including the false claim that they cause autism and other health issues. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he actively aligned himself with extremist groups that rejected science-based measures designed to protect public health, demonstrating a blatant disregard for evidence-based solutions and the well-being of Americans. His inflammatory rhetoric has fueled the anti-vaccine movement, directly contributing to vaccine hesitancy and preventable public health crises. Beyond his anti-vaccine campaign, RFK Jr. has consistently attacked trusted public health institutions, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). By undermining confidence in these agencies, he weakens public trust in the institutions Americans depend on to navigate health crises and safeguard public well-being. The HHS is tasked with managing programs and policies that protect lives—programs that depend on scientific research and proven health solutions. RFK Jr.’s long record of promoting pseudoscience and opposing evidence-based approaches proves he cannot be trusted to lead an agency so vital to the nation’s health and safety. If RFK Jr. were confirmed to head HHS, millions of American lives would be at risk. His policies would jeopardize public health and undermine efforts to protect our communities from preventable diseases and health crises. I strongly urge you to oppose Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s confirmation as Head of HHS. The health and safety of all Americans depend on leadership that prioritizes facts, science, and public trust–qualities RFK Jr. does not carry.
