An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Stop Inhumane Treatment of Immigrants

2 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

Please do everything in your power to stop ICE’s inhumane treatment of immigrants. Many are not even criminals, but even if they are, smashing car windows and dragging terrorized people onto the street, often in front of children, is inhuman, and un-American.  According to ProPublica’s exposé, one Afghan asylum-seeker who stepped out of a car after ICE threatened to break his window said in an affidavit, “It reminded me of the Taliban.”  We should be better than this. We don’t want this in our state, and we don’t want this anywhere in America.  Please take action.
