Investigate and Impeach Russell Vought’s Actions and Influence

Write Russell Vought’s reemergence in a position of federal leadership demands immediate and rigorous scrutiny. His past actions, including his tenure as Director of the Office of Management and Budget under the Trump administration, reveal a troubling pattern of behavior that undermines constitutional governance, democratic institutions, and the nonpartisan function of the federal workforce. As OMB Director, Vought played a central role in obstructing the Congressional impeachment inquiry and advancing ideologically extreme policies that gutted civil rights protections, undermined agency integrity, and eroded public trust in government. His leadership has consistently prioritized political loyalty over constitutional duty, and his legacy includes a trail of weakened agencies and demoralized civil servants. His most recent involvement—co-authoring or endorsing the July 28, 2025 OPM guidance on religious expression—further highlights his disregard for constitutional limits. By encouraging federal supervisors to engage in religious persuasion in the workplace, the guidance flirts dangerously with violations of the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment.
