I am terrified by the actions taken in the House relating to discrimination against members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I am an Ohio native, a proud out man who sometimes performs in the clothing of the opposite gender. That doesn’t make me anything other than a proud out man who sometimes performs in the clothing of the opposite gender. I am also a father, a grandfather, a property owner, and a tax paying citizen.
The ignorance and bigotry displayed by my elected representatives is appalling to me and my family. Thank goodness we have the power to vote; one hopes it’s not too late to avoid this slide into hate which you are promulgating.
Please vote against any effort to discriminate; and governor, please veto anything that happens to get to your desk that would make citizens in your state feel unsafe and unappreciated.
