Catch up with international initiatives on Epstein

I am writing to inquire when the USDOJ intends to pursue enforcement strategies comparable to those used by several other countries in investigating, charging, and prosecuting individuals connected to the Jeffrey Epstein trafficking network. In recent years, international law enforcement agencies have taken visible steps to investigate individuals accused of participating in, facilitating, or benefiting from sexual exploitation networks linked to Epstein and related operations. In contrast, many members of the public perceive that accountability in the United States has been limited, particularly beyond Epstein himself and a small number of prosecuted associates. This perception has contributed to a broader concern about whether all credible allegations are being fully investigated and, where appropriate, prosecuted. Sex trafficking is a global crime that requires international cooperation, transparency, and consistent enforcement. When other nations pursue cases tied to multinational trafficking operations, it raises reasonable questions about whether all available evidence is being fully examined domestically. Survivors, advocacy organizations, and the public have repeatedly expressed interest in seeing thorough investigations of anyone credibly accused, with due process protections, regardless of wealth, status, or political connections. I respectfully request clarification on the following: • Whether the Department of Justice is actively coordinating with international partners on ongoing Epstein-related investigations
 • Whether additional domestic investigations are currently underway
 • What barriers, if any, have limited prosecutions in the United States compared to some international actions
 • What steps are being taken to ensure transparency and public confidence in these investigations Public trust in the justice system depends on the consistent application of law and visible accountability. Providing clearer communication about investigative efforts and enforcement priorities would help address widespread public concern and reinforce confidence that all credible allegations are being treated with appropriate seriousness.
