We Need Fair Taxes For A Fair America

I am your constituent and I am fed up with this administration decimating the important work that We The People need done at HHS, CDC, NIH, FDA, The EPA and other agencies. Cancer research has been so scaled back it is dangerous. Republicans cut $1 trillion out of healthcare funding over 10 years and millions will have no health health insurance leading to unnecessary bankruptcies and early deaths, all to line the pockets of the wealthiest 800 people in our country. You were elected to protect and serve your constituents, not those 800 billionaires. I want you to restore fairness in our country and pass the Equal Tax Act HR 5336 /S 4112. The EQUAL TAX ACT ensures wealthy investors pay the same tax rate on their income that working people pay on their income, by taxing investment income at the same rate as earned income for those earning over $1 million annually. It also eliminates one of the ways the wealthy avoid taxes by ending the stepped-up basis loophole with unprecedented protections for family farms and businesses. I need you to get on board and support the Equal Tax Act because this country is not just for those 800 billionaires it is for all 340 million of us.
