Aid should not be political

While I am glad the administration is sending federal aid to Texas to help with the floods, I am concerned that resources have not been deployed to the California wildfires.  We are the United States of America.  Aid should be sent regardless of the State’s political leanings or Governor. Be ethical and fair - call for funding for all states when they have a natural disaster. You never know when Ohio will be hit by a disaster and need help. We don’t want to rely on the whims of a fickle or punitive administration for assistance in a time of crisis.
