Condition aid to Israel on compliance with laws of war.

I know Israel is 75. It and I were both born in 1948. I also know the history and reasons for the creation of the Jewish state. I agree Hamas is a terrorist organization and started the current round of combat with vicious attacks on civilians, killing several thousands. BUT - no matter how evil and unprovoked the initial attacks were, and they were, the laws of war require proportionality. Killing over 15000 civilians, of whom ⅔ approximately were women and children in an attempt to kill Hamas soldiers is in no way justified or proportional. I have long supported Israel and still support its right to exist. But I cannot support the current Israeli administration’s attacks on civilians, even when they go to safe zones. I cannot support attacks on hospitals and ambulance convoys. I cannot support the systematic starvation of women and children. All I ask is that the USA condition continued aid on Israel complying with humanitarian laws.
