President Trump has installed plaques beneath portraits of former presidents at the White House to mock and insult his predecessors. One plaque calls Joe Biden “the worst President in American History.” Another attacks Barack Obama. This is not political commentary. It is vandalism of our nation’s history and a deliberate degradation of the office he holds. I ask you to publicly condemn this behavior. The presidency demands respect for those who came before, regardless of party. George W. Bush honored Bill Clinton. Barack Obama honored George W. Bush. This is not about politics.
