Demand DOJ Compliance with Epstein Files Disclosure Law

I am writing to demand that you take immediate action to ensure the Department of Justice complies with federal law requiring the release of Jeffrey Epstein case files. Attorney General Pam Bondi and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche have failed to meet the transparency obligations mandated by this law, despite public statements claiming commitment to openness.
This is not a matter of discretion. The law requires specific disclosures related to the Epstein investigation, and the current DOJ leadership is simply not following through. When the Justice Department selectively ignores statutory requirements, it undermines the rule of law and erodes public trust in our institutions. The American people deserve answers about how Epstein's criminal enterprise operated for years and who may have enabled or protected him.
The disconnect between the DOJ's rhetoric about transparency and its actual conduct is unacceptable. Congress passed this disclosure law for a reason: to ensure accountability and provide the public with information about one of the most significant criminal cases in recent history. The victims of Epstein's crimes and the broader public have waited long enough for these answers.
I am asking you to use your oversight authority to hold the Justice Department accountable. This means demanding immediate compliance with the disclosure law, requesting a timeline for the release of all required documents, and holding hearings if necessary to compel action. The DOJ cannot be allowed to ignore congressional mandates simply because compliance may be politically inconvenient.
Your constituents expect you to ensure that all branches of government follow the law, regardless of which administration is in power. I urge you to act swiftly to enforce this transparency requirement and demonstrate that no agency is above the law.
