Congress Must Stand as the Only Check as the Court Sides with Trump

As a Congressperson, regardless of political affiliation, I think you should be nervous about Trump's consolidation of power in all three branches of government. The checks and balances are there for a reason, and whatever short term political gains the Republican party hopes to get out of the current administration's power grab, I hope as someone who took an oath to uphold the constitution of the United States you are both outraged and worried by the long-term implications of the Supreme Court giving more power to the executive branch in today's ruling limiting the power of the courts. This has potential to last generations, and puts American Democracy at risk. Congress must stand as the check and balance, as the court is stacked with Justices who have a political agenda.
