Investigate Intelligence Handling by Gabbard and Ties to Kushner-Iran Intercept

I’m writing to urge you to support a thorough congressional investigation into Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard's handling of classified intelligence and Jared Kushner's ongoing involvement in sensitive diplomatic matters without formal government authority or ethics oversight.
The whistleblower complaint filed in May 2025 alleges that Gabbard improperly limited access to an intelligence intercept in which two foreign nationals discussed Kushner and Iran. Rather than allowing the National Security Agency to distribute its report through standard channels, Gabbard allegedly brought a paper copy directly to White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and directed the NSA to transmit details to her office instead of publishing it.
This deviation from established protocols raises serious questions about whether intelligence was suppressed to protect political interests rather than national security.
The substance of the intercept is equally concerning. At the time, Kushner was involved in Middle East peace talks despite holding no official role in the Trump administration while simultaneously maintaining business interests in the region.
As Citizens for Ethics has repeatedly noted, Kushner operates as a private citizen with billions in investments from foreign governments, subject to no ethics rules, yet meets with foreign leaders alongside the President and cabinet secretaries. This creates profound conflicts of interest that compromise the integrity of American foreign policy.
While Republican Senator Tom Cotton dismissed the complaint as not credible on February 5, the whistleblower's attorney has formally urged Gabbard to share the full complaint with Congress. Members of Congress have only received heavily redacted versions, preventing proper oversight.
All of this is disturbing.
The American people deserve transparency about how intelligence involving the President's family members is handled and whether proper protocols are followed.
I ask that you demand full congressional access to the unredacted complaint and support an independent investigation into both Gabbard's actions and Kushner's unauthorized diplomatic activities.
Our intelligence system cannot function if political considerations override established procedures designed to protect national security. How deep does the intelligence leakage from Gabbard go? We must find out. It’s a matter of national security that our spy chief herself is acting in some other country’s interests. Thank you.
