An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Provide real aid to Ukraine and stop Trump's extortion!

7 so far! Help us get to 10 signers!

For three years, Ukraine has been valiantly fighting against a ruthless and atrocity-committing Russian invasion, with half-hearted support from the United States. Now, the Trump regime wants new payments and the commitment of mineral rights, in return for aid previously provided. Such extortion is OUTRAGEOUS and must be stopped. Russia - despite the favor expressed by Trump - remains committed to harming the United States. We should be providing more military and civilian aid - not loans - to the one country fighting against Putin's reestablishment of the Russian and Soviet empire. That is what a proper US defense policy would be doing, not toadying up to a dictator who seems to have undue influence over the president of this country. (I am still wondering why GOP lawmakers were in Moscow on July 4th 2018, but that's another matter.) Do the right thing - provide meaningful and effective military and civilian aid to Ukraine so it can win this war and expel Russia from ALL of it's territory, including Crimea.
