Remove money from politics

I am your constituent, and I need your action. Money in politics has corrupted leadership, distorted public opinion, and allowed elections to be influenced by wealthy interests, including foreign-aligned entities. This is incompatible with a functioning democracy. I want you to author and support legislation that: • Eliminates private campaign financing and replaces it with equal public funding for all qualified candidates • Requires equal distribution of ad time, mailers, and debate access, regardless of party size • Bans Super PACs • Treats any targeted contribution, gift, travel, or luxury provided to a candidate or officeholder as bribery, with enforcement against both giver and receiver Campaigns should not be auctions. Voters should be choosing between ideas, not funding sources. I also want structural reforms to debates so voters can evaluate substance without manipulation. At minimum, include formats that present candidate responses in neutral text or voice, without performance cues. It is your job to restore fair elections!
