An open letter to the U.S. Senate

Reject Stefanik's UN Nomination, Uphold Human Rights and Peace

19 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

The United States' role at the United Nations should prioritize promoting peace, human rights, and international cooperation. Stefanik's "America First" agenda risks undermining these principles by enabling Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories and dismissing legitimate criticism as "antisemitic rot." Her expressed views on Israel's "biblical right" to the West Bank are concerning and threaten to exacerbate regional tensions. America's UN ambassador must be able to objectively address complex global issues without falling into partisan rhetoric. Stefanik's unwavering support for Israeli settlements and potential annexation would undermine prospects for a just peace between Israelis and Palestinians. Her nomination raises red flags about America's ability to serve as an honest broker at the UN. Rejecting her confirmation would demonstrate a commitment to human rights and self-determination for all peoples.
