An open letter to the President & U.S. Congress

Protect Social Security for ALL!

14 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

Social Security is under renewed attack, and we need you to act now. Donald Trump, despite past assurances that he wouldn’t touch the program, repeatedly proposed massive cuts during his presidency—and reports indicate he's once again entertaining those ideas despite internal GOP warnings. At the same time, Elon Musk has irresponsibly labeled Social Security a “scam,” using his vast influence to push for its destruction while undermining trust in one of the most successful social programs in American history. This is a coordinated assault by billionaires and political elites aimed at unraveling the foundation of retirement security for millions of Americans. Musk’s public market disruptions and policy rhetoric are already creating uncertainty for the program’s future. You must take a clear stand: protect and strengthen Social Security, block any attempt at privatization or benefit cuts, and keep profiteers like Trump and Musk from dismantling what working people have paid into for generations. The time to act is now—before irreversible damage is done.
