An open letter to the U.S. Senate

Protect Trans Youth Healthcare

12 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

I am writing to strongly oppose efforts to block access to essential, medically necessary care for transgender youth. Studies have consistently found that transgender youth who are able to receive gender-affirming care like access to hormonal treatments, report positive outcomes, including increased well-being and decreased depression. Medical professionals, not federal agencies, should be the people advising parents and their children about what kind of care is appropriate. I urge you to vote NO on the “Do No Harm in Medicaid Act” and the “Protect Innocent Children Act” if they come up for a vote. Thank you.
