I read in the news that the Governor and AG of California are suing the Trump Administration for unlawfully withholding food assistance from millions of Californians during the federal shutdown. I read in the news that the Republican controlled USDA has emergency funds to keep SNAP running in November but is choosing not to use them — putting the most vulnerable at risk of hunger and malnutrition. As the Governor of Nevada, what will you choose to do to help Nevada children and families relying on SNAP? What will you choose to do to help working-class and poor Nevadans who rely on the ACA premium tax credits to afford health insurance? Nevadans are waiting to hear from you.
