Opposing The RESTRICT Act

I’m writing today to oppose the RESTRICT Act (S. 686). I am concerned about the broad and unchecked powers this bill gives the government to limit and censor free speech and privacy. As a young person who has grown up in the age of social media, I am all too familiar with the many related societal challenges we face. However, I do not support the criminalization of private, harmless internet activity and I strongly oppose the overreach present in this bill. Voters of my generation strongly recommends voting “no” on this bill and so do I.
