Greetings. I am a voting constituent in rural west Texas.
A second impeachment on the table. Too bad the first one didn’t take. If it had, we might not be in the awful times we find ourselves in.
But to all the GOP congressmen I see on my TV, with furrowed browns, concerned expressions, saying it would do more harm than good to start proceedings, that there’s not enough time...please.
Y’all lost any semblance of a moral conscience or right to say what’s wrong, what’s right, and what’s possible.
You don’t have a leg to stand on after the complicity, the enabling, the collusion of the last four years.
So if you choose to continue to be part of the problem, it would probably be best to just sit quietly. And wait for the clock to run out.
Because if you take no action to get this dangerous person out of the people’s house, and something even more awful than what just occurred at the Capitol comes to pass, it will be on your heads.
With certainty.
