Vote No on Fossil Fuel Immunity Legislation

Vote no on any legislation that would grant fossil fuel companies immunity from climate-related lawsuits. Oil companies have known since the 1950s that their products were harming both the environment and the climate. They've had conclusive data on the CO2 emissions from burning fossil fuels since the 1970s. It's long past time that they were held accountable and paid for the harm that they've caused. Congress must not ever grant them immunity! Americans pay every day to clean up the mess that they have profited from. Americans deserve the right to hold corporations accountable when they cause harm. Reject any attempt to give Big Oil a free pass.
