I am writing to ask you to co-sponsor the Judiciary Act of 2021 (H.R. 2584), which would add four justices to the Supreme Court. In light of the likely repeal of Roe v Wade this summer, we have to use every tool at our disposal to ensure not only access to abortion across the country but to protect other civil rights that will be at risk. The expansion of the court, which has historical precedent, would allow for better representation of the views and values of the voting public and would help to protect us from the takeover of our democracy by minority interests.
