Protect Texas Public Education.

I am writing to oppose any legislation that introduces or expands private school vouchers. I believe public funds should be used for public schools and not private and religious schools. Vouchers divert money from schools that are already underfunded. It gives that money to private schools that lack accountability and transparency. Texas students and educators need somebody that is gonna stand behind them and vote against vouchers. Please contact me and let me know where you stand on these issues. Your choice on whether or not you put Texas education and children first, will be a major consideration on where my vote goes next election.
