The proposal to eliminate taxes on tips is a welcome concern for low-wage workers. However, this proposal could have unforeseen consequences, such as exacerbating the already prevalent culture of tipping for everything. If you genuinely care about low-wage tip workers, a more effective solution would be to raise the subminimum wage. Thank you for considering this change that will have a more significant impact on tip workers.
