I am beseeching you to apply pressure on Hakeem Jefferies and all House Democrats to use their leverage of the upcoming end to the continuing resolution. I know you are new to the House, but you are NOT new to politics. Hakeem directed DNC funds and support to you instead of Jamie McLeod Skinner. Do not let that keep you from holding his feet to the fire. Democratic leadership's response to this travesty of a cabinet has been abysmal. Channel your inner Jasmine Crocket and AOC and get the House to use their leverage to get the MAGA extremists to back off their destructive agenda. We have leverage, we need to use it. This is a constitutional crisis. Democrats need to act like the 5 alarm fire it is.
