Please supply Ukraine with all the weapons it requires to repel the Russian invasion effectively, as quickly as possible, and in the quantities they request. We should prioritize equipping Ukraine with an effective Air Force by providing them with F-16 fighter jets without delay. Additionally, we should consider supplying them with other aircraft, such as the F-18 or Saab JAS 39 Gripen, if we can broker a deal to get them to Ukraine either sooner or in addition to the F-16s. However, we should not delay the delivery of F-16s with the potential promise of supplying these other jets later.
Furthermore, we should extend our support by providing Ukraine with various weapons systems to enhance its capabilities and ensure its success. This includes but is not limited to ATACMS long-range missiles, MQ-9 Reaper drones, additional Patriot batteries, more M1 Abrams tanks, M2 Bradley IFVs, M777 howitzers, and more 155mm shells. In essence, we should provide more of everything.
Please also consider offering economic assistance to Ukraine to help maintain its economy and rebuild its infrastructure, which Russia ravaged.
Defending Ukraine aligns with the interests of the United States. A free, democratic, pro-Western Ukraine would be a valuable ally against authoritarian states like Russia, which could threaten our country if they succeeded in conquering Ukraine. Therefore, assisting Ukraine in its defense is crucial to our security interests.
