DOJ defying court demands transparency over deportations

I am deeply troubled by the Department of Justice's refusal to provide information requested by U.S. District Court Judge James E. Boasberg regarding the deportation of alleged Venezuelan gang members under a questionable executive order. This blatant defiance of the court's legitimate demand for details is unacceptable and undermines the rule of law. The DOJ's stance that there is "no justification" to order the release of additional details is dismissive of the court's authority and oversight role. Executing deportations under an obscure 18th century law without proper transparency or due process is highly concerning. The public deserves to know how many individuals were deported, to which countries, and on what timeline - basic facts the DOJ is obligated to disclose. I urge a full investigation into this matter to uphold the independence of the judiciary and hold the executive branch accountable. The DOJ's actions smack of potential abuses of power that must be scrutinized. Stonewalling legitimate court inquiries erodes faith in our institutions and the constitutional system of checks and balances. Transparency and accountability must be restored through decisive action.
