Stop the deceptive California Utility Tax! Support AB 1999!

I am writing to express my deep concern about the utility tax you apparently supported without informing the public of your plans. I’m encouraged to see that AB 1999 would undo this terrible policy. You MUST support it! Now, the public is about to get slammed with an uncapped utility tax that might start at $30/month, no matter how much electricity they use. This is going to increase utility bills for millions of everyday people. How could you do such a thing? I work hard to conserve energy in my home, and this utility tax is a slap in the face of those efforts. We should not be punished and penalized for making smart and thoughtful energy decisions. I urge you to stand in solidarity with Californians and stand up to these greedy and abusive Utility Monopolies.
