Demand an immediate investigation into the Trump administration's use of at least $443,000 in taxpayer money to air partisan campaign ads on Fox News and Newsmax. This is not a gray area. The ads feature Trump's own voice calling Democrats "communists," Dana White's 2024 campaign praise for Trump, and slogans touting Trump's "accomplishments" — all stamped "Paid for by the US government." That is not a public service announcement. That is a campaign ad funded by the people it's being used against.
Representative Jamie Raskin has already flagged this as a potential Hatch Act violation and "felony criminal theft of government property for political campaign purposes." Every prior administration the White House cited as precedent — Bush, Obama, Biden — ran ads with zero partisan content and zero images of the sitting president. This administration's comparison is a lie. The law exists for exactly this reason: to prevent the government's resources from being weaponized to keep one party in power. Enforce it.
