After reading the letter from BART senior management about the dire state of BART and the drastic impending service cuts, I must urge the state of California to provide deep financial support to BART. Good public transit is fundamental to the health and welfare of the Bay Area and thus to the state as a whole. Please help BART navigate this rough transition out of the pandemic. The investments you make today will pay off in the next 5-10 years, while not investing now will devastate California for decades to come.
