Repeal the New Immigration Ban

But using that tragedy as a reason to slow or block immigrant visas ends up punishing people who had nothing to do with it. Collective punishment doesn’t make us safer — it just harms innocent families who are following the legal process. The new order is deepening existing backlogs, separating families, and creating unnecessary obstacles for people seeking stability, safety, and reunification. This shouldn’t be a partisan issue — it’s a matter of fairness, human dignity, and keeping our immigration system functional. I respectfully ask you to: 1. Publicly oppose the new order, 2. Urge the administration to reverse it, and 3. Support legislation that protects timely processing for all immigrant visas, including Afghan cases. People who are going through the proper legal channels shouldn’t bear the consequences of violence they had no part in. Your leadership on this issue can prevent further harm to innocent families.
