An open letter to the President

NO to crypto reserve scheme!

6 so far! Help us get to 10 signers!

The executive order establishing a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve and Digital Asset Stockpile raises concerns about the government's misplaced priorities. While creating an opaque cryptocurrency stockpile, the administration is simultaneously dismantling vital governmental agencies, terminating public servants, and proposing draconian cuts to essential programs like Social Security, Medicare, and SNAP that support vulnerable Americans. Rather than enriching the wealthy through speculative digital asset schemes, the government should prioritize policies that uplift the lives of everyday citizens by fortifying social safety nets and public services that foster economic security and opportunity for all. This initiative appears to disproportionately benefit billionaires and the affluent class at the expense of the common American, contradicting the principle of governing for the collective good. A true representative administration would focus its efforts on creating and strengthening programs that directly improve the well-being and prosperity of ordinary working families across the nation.
