Condemn Trump’s Guantanamo Bay Concentration Camp

The proposed plan by Trump’s administration to detain 30,000+ migrants at Guantanamo Bay is an unconscionable violation of human rights as well as international law. Trump’s administration has been working quickly to further criminalize immigrants. With the Laken Riley Act, undocumented immigrants can be detained indefinitely and without due process based on accusations alone. Effectively giving any undocumented immigrant the potential to be treated as “the worst criminal illegal aliens” that Trump wants incarcerated at Guantanamo Bay. We demand our officials see these deplorable actions for what they are and take any means necessary to prevent history’s gruesome repetition. Our representatives must condemn this proposal and block any attempts to gain funding or support for these concentration camps.
