Keep safety standards !

Ted Cruz: "They had to make cars out of plastic instead of steel because of the emissions standards. People died." Trump proceeds to repeat the ridiculous things he said. As usual the they have no clue what they are talking about. American cars were 100% Detroit steel all the way thru the 70s and people died a lot more back then when involved in car accidents. Better design (forced by the "mandates" these idiots hate) brought safety. First hand experience of a 25+ year paramedic: cars are safer than they have ever been. Please don’t let Cruz and trump endangere lives by eliminating safety standards.
