Reject budget favoring ultra-wealthy, promote equity for all

The House budget blueprint includes deep spending cuts and tax breaks favoring the wealthiest Americans, exacerbating income inequality. We cannot support measures that disproportionately benefit the ultra-rich at the expense of middle and working class families. Trickle-down economics has repeatedly failed - true economic growth comes from investing in the people, not privileging the fortunate few. Tax reform should focus on closing loopholes exploited by corporations and the uber-wealthy, not providing them further concessions. Legislators must reject this lopsided proposal and work towards an equitable budget that uplifts all citizens, not just the top economic tier. Allowing a government shutdown is preferable to enshrining policies that rig the system for the elite donor class.
