Jeffries & Schumer MUST Prosecute Trump or Step Down.

On Fox News, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries affirmed that the Democratic Party, if they enjoy a landslide in the midterms, will not pursue holding President Donald J. Trump accountable. This coupled with lambasting and blaming voters for the failures and spinelessness of the Democratic party, ignoring partywide calls to defund ICE, continuing to support foreign wars and a bloated war budget at the expense of social programs, ignoring the majority of voters on both sides of the aisles demanding affordable housing and affordable healthcare, and both he and Schumer seeming incapable of listening to anyone left of center-right, demonstrates that Senator Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries are out of touch with the Democratic base, notably those who are under the age of 55 and/or are Black or Brown voters directly impacted by this Congress's grotesque inaction on immigration, police brutality, mass incarceration, the economy, etc. for not a few years but well over a couple of decades now. It is time for Jeffries and Schumer to step down and make room for leadership that represents the American people. Already both major parties have less voters combined than those voting independent. That trend will continue among Millennial, young Gen X, and Gen Z voters if the Democratic party worries more about aligning itself with far right Fox News watchers instead of the actual young and diverse Democratic base. Step down or step up.
