WHAT’S COMING FIRST? EPSTEIN FILES OR WAR ON CHICAGO?

Trump, President of the United States And of course, because vile has become the goal, his words were followed by three helicopter emojis, symbols the right wing uses to represent former Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet’s goons’ disappearing political opponents by pushing them out of helicopters. The president of the US just declared war, actual military war, not a metaphorical one, on a major American city. One governed by his political opponents. In any other period, this would be impeachment-worthy. But not now. Now the rioters who tried to take down democracy on January 6 are patriots, absolved of crimes, honored by our country’s leadership. And the entire part of the country led by ‘blue’ government is the actual enemy of the people. Deserving of invasion, subjugation, and apparently assassination as well. SCOTUS and the Republican Party have brought us to this. Y’all have created, supported, aided, abetted it all with your votes, your complicity, or your silence. You are the architects of what is happening to America. You and you alone are responsible. Because you could have stopped it all. And you chose not to. And the laugh-out-loud moment in all this? Talking to reporters about the Epstein files, speaker Johnson said that Trump was “an FBI informant to try to take this stuff down.” Yet another popular conspiracy theory coming out of the mouths of our leaders. It’s pretty well known that Trump and Epstein had a falling out in 2004 after Trump went behind Epstein’s back to buy an estate in South Florida that Epstein wanted. At the time, Trump was headed toward bankruptcy. It was never clear where he was getting the money to buy the estate. Reporting says that Epstein suspected Trump was laundering money for a Russian oligarch. And Trump did flip the property to a Russian oligarch for a profit of more than $50M a few years after buying it. I personally remember that story. Epstein threatened to sue Trump, bringing the money laundering to light. And it was at that point, the Epstein investigation began. As the story goes, Epstein believed Trump had notified the police about what was going on at Epstein’s house, which he knew because he was a frequent visitor. So did Johnson mention that Trump was an informant because that info is in the DOJ files? And the new strategy is trying to spin it ahead of time to make it sound like Trump was a hero? Roll the Trump as Elliot Ness memes… But it’s more likely that Trump turned the FBI onto Epstein, showing he KNEW what was taking place at Epstein’s properties. Does anyone deny this would not be a tried and true Trump strategy? Retribution? Retaliation? Revenge? Not a hero. Just a plain old rat that knew what the other rat was doing. Are y’all seriously on board for all this BS? And calling it normal?
