Defund the Military and invest in the people

Defund the Military and invest in the people. We are dying from preventable diseases. We have citizens without basic necessities like housing and food security. The military budget is larger than the next dozen countries combined. We should be drastically cutting it and investing in undoing the harm caused by our colonialism and imperialism. Instead we are doubling down while attempting to destabilize democracies like Ethiopia. While we criticize Russia we continue to do the same thing.
