I am writing to urge you to demand the removal of Tom Homan from his position as Border Czar and call for a full investigation into credible allegations of corruption.
In September 2024, FBI undercover agents recorded Homan accepting $50,000 in cash after he indicated he could help them win government contracts if Trump won the election (MSNBC, Washington Post, September 2025). The FBI’s Public Integrity Section joined the investigation in November 2024, and Justice officials considered four criminal charges: conspiracy, bribery, and two types of fraud. After Trump took office, the investigation was shut down despite FBI and DOJ officials believing the evidence warranted continuing the case (ABC News, September 2025). This isn’t partisan. Recorded evidence of a public official taking cash for promised contracts demands investigation, not burial.
Homan received consulting fees from GEO Group, the largest prison operator in the country, before joining the administration. Billions in taxpayer funding have since gone to private contractors including GEO Group (House Judiciary Committee, September 2025). Americans deserve to know whether conflicts of interest are driving policy. Under standard FBI protocols, the Trump team knew about the active investigation when they appointed Homan anyway, then shut it down once in power (House Judiciary Committee, October 2025). Whether Homan is guilty or innocent, the evidence that prompted an FBI investigation deserves public scrutiny, not backroom dismissal.
I urge you to demand transparency by calling for the release of FBI recordings and investigative files, and to support Homan’s removal until a full independent investigation is completed. Public office requires public trust. Accountability shouldn’t depend on political loyalty.
