An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Stop confirming Trump picks! You have the power to stop this- but not the will!

18 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

Good morning! It’s a beautiful day out there today- perfect for fun and games! Let’s play capture the flag. You have one team, I have the other. We’ll come up with our strategies and meet on the battlefield. And just to make it a little more challenging, once we’re in position, let’s eliminate the captains and see what happens to the rest of the players without our leadership, strategies, and plans of attack. Sounds ridiculous, right? So why does Trump think it’s a genius move to fire the secretary of the navy in the middle of a naval blockade on Iran? Make it make sense? Now don’t get me wrong. I’m not sorry to see Phelan being fired. He’s in the Epstein files and shouldn’t be in charge of the navy in the first place… but how does that ultimately make us look to the world at large? Like we have no idea what we’re doing? I mean… clearly we don’t… but does everyone have to know it? And should senate loser Hung Cao really be next in line? Stop confirming Trump’s appointees. You have the power to stop this. You just lack the will.
