Israeli War Crimes, Netanyahu’s Visit, and West Bank Land Sales to U.S. Citizens

The U.S. must end its complicity in Israel’s war crimes by holding it accountable and cutting military support. As the ceasefire holds, Israel escalates deadly raids in the West Bank, including the latest assault on Jenin, causing mass displacement and destruction—echoing Gaza. Palestinians deserve more than a ceasefire; they deserve freedom, justice, and dignity. I also strongly condemn Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s upcoming visit to the U.S. It is unacceptable to welcome a war criminal responsible for the mass killing of Palestinians while his forces continue attacks in the West Bank. The U.S. should not host Netanyahu, let alone continue supplying his government with weapons and diplomatic cover. Instead, the U.S. must support international accountability, including ICC arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Furthermore, I urge you to take immediate action to stop the sale of West Bank land to U.S. citizens, which directly fuels the illegal expansion of Israeli settlements. These settlements violate international law and displace Palestinians from their own land. The U.S. must not allow its citizens to profit from war crimes and apartheid. In addition to these urgent concerns, I call on you to: - Address Israeli military and settler violence in the West Bank and immediately reinstate sanctions on settlers. - Call for the release of Dr. Safiya. - Restore funding to UNRWA to provide humanitarian aid to displaced Palestinians. - Ensure journalists have safe access to Gaza to report on the situation without obstruction. - Oppose Biden’s $8 billion weapons sale to Israel and support a total arms embargo, including an end to U.S.-backed Israeli wars in the Middle East. - Support ICC arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant for their war crimes. The U.S. cannot continue enabling Israel’s crimes while Palestinian civilians endure unrelenting violence. We must demand accountability, an end to illegal land theft, and a complete halt to U.S. support for Israel’s military operations.
