An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Support and Press for Passage of the Public Service Accountability Act

670 so far! Help us get to 1,000 signers!

Today I take pen in hand to write and urge you to support and vote yes on the Public Service Accountability Act. (Rep. Goodlander) Corruption stemming from Trump is rife in every enabling cabinet officer and many legislators. They are emboldened by lack of a working Justice Department. This kind of legislation is overdue. Public servants must be held to clear, enforceable standards, and this legislation is a necessary step toward ensuring that government agencies answer to the people they serve — not the other way around. Accountability in public service isn't a partisan issue. When officials face no real consequences for misconduct or negligence, public trust erodes and the people most dependent on government services pay the price. This bill creates the kind of oversight mechanisms that make institutions work the way they're supposed to. Your constituents are watching this vote. Support the Public Service Accountability Act. Thank you.
